Sears made the same mistake a lot of box stores have. They went schlock to try and compete with the Internet. Stores full of junk nobody wanted and know-nothing sales staff.
Was inevitable once they got rid of catalog. Amazon became online catalog. No need for walk in stores in any industryanymore.
