CLEVELAND, Ohio — Logan Allen got off to a hot start when he joined the Guardians in April, striking out at least eight batters in each of his first three appearances while allowing two or fewer runs in each outing. The left-hander went on to have a strong year, despite fading in August before the club shut him down midway through September.
