Liam Neeson's Qui-Gon Jinn returns to StarWars in a new fan poster for the upcoming ObiWanKenobi TV show.

A new fan poster for Obi-Wan Kenobi imagines what Qui-Gon Jinn could look like if he were to appear in the upcoming Disney+ series. Qui-Gon Jinn was Obi-Wan's master who was introduced in George Lucas' first Star Wars prequel, Star Wars: Episode I- The Phantom Menace. Despite the character being well-received, Liam Neeson hasn't been seen in live-action since Darth Maul killed his character at the end of the movie.

At this point, there are a few characters confirmed for Obi-Wan Kenobi. Ewan McGregor is, of course, returning to his Jedi role 17 years after he was last seen in Revenge of the Sith. Hayden Christensen is also confirmed to be reprising his role as Darth Vader, which means the series could feature Clone Wars flashbacks with Anakin and Obi-Wan. A young Leia will reportedly be part of the show's story, as will Bail Organa.

With the popularity of Qui-Gon Jinn, there is a good chance Disney could have brought Neeson back for Obi-Wan Kenobi. Most fans would love to see him come back, and it would also make sense narratively. That being said, if Qui-Gon Jinn returns as a Force ghost, it's very likely Disney will save that surprise until the series debuts on Disney+.
