Wellington Paranormal creator Jemaine Clement provides a vague expectation of when seasons 3 and 4 will premiere in the US. The deadpan comedy series out of New Zealand is a spinoff of the successful What We Do in the Shadows show and created by the same filmmakers, Clement and Taika Waititi.
While What We Do in the Shadows has become a critically-acclaimed and popular comedy series in the West, no doubt somewhat attributable to the cult status of the preceding film, Wellington Paranormal has enjoyed far quieter success, primarily in and around its native country. This disparity could be due to the smaller scale of Wellington's production and toned-down humor, among other things.
Seasons 3 and 4 will be on HBOMax and The CW in.... a couple of months? @WellyParanormal seasons 1 and 2 are already there. https://t.co/Wdytbd2KmLWellington Paranormal officially predates the Shadows series, airing in July 2018 on TVNZ 2 in New Zealand. Due to contractual obligations with Shadows partner network FX, Clement and Waititi could not secure international distribution for Wellington Paranormal outside of New Zealand and Australia until three years later.
Understandably, however, fans are impatient. Wellington Paranormal's season 3 first aired toward the beginning of 2021, well before the WarnerMedia acquisition that gave subscribers seasons 1 and 2, so the omission was undoubtedly confusing. If FX's non-distribution clause was no longer in effect, season 3 could have rapidly joined the other seasons on those platforms, but the extensive legal factors are unclear.

As a combat veteran, this is embarrassing. Can’t EVER mind their own damn business. If the guidance for these troops is the same as for the troops in Afghanistan, Mr Putin need not worry.
