As we approach the Democratic presidential debate in Nevada this evening, the nature of what’s at stake keeps getting clearer

on February 14, 2020,"Mr. Barr has installed a phalanx of outside lawyers to re-examine national security cases with the possibility of overruling career prosecutors, a highly unusual move that could prompt more accusations of Justice Department politicization."—both as a way to signal support to his allies, and as a way to warn his perceived foes that he has a Justice Department at his disposal, and he's prepared to abuse his power and corrupt the system as he sees fit.

· On February 18, as if to underline his relaxed attitude towards political corruption of the kind that he himself has been accused of, Trumpand wiped away the crimes of 11 prominent white-collar criminals, such as former Gov. Rod Blagojevich of Illinois, a one-time contestant on Celebrity Apprentice, who was convicted of trying to sell a vacated Senate seat.

Will voters opt for a candidate who most closely resembles the advice of leadership gurus, i.e. someone who is passionate, truthful, authentic, trusting and empathetic to his base, but insufficiently flexible either to prevail in a brutal election or get anything done in Washington if there were to be a victory?
