Daniel Radcliffe revealed what he loved most about the HarryPotter reunion special, ReturnToHogwarts. 'There is something lovely and full circle about having adult conversations with people that you had only had children's conversations with before.'

Harry Potter actor Daniel Radcliffe has revealed what he loved about returning for the recent 20th anniversary reunion special, Return to Hogwarts. In 2001, an 11-year-old Radcliffe first debuted on the big screen in Harry Potter and The Sorcerer's Stone, kicking off one of the biggest movie franchises of all time. Based upon the book series by J.K.

To mark the first film's 20th anniversary, HBO Max streamed Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return To Hogwarts on January 1, 2022. The reunion special saw many returning cast members and all Harry Potter film directors to reflect upon the success of the series, and give a sneak peak into the making of the franchise.

"It was really lovely. I'm really, really glad we did it ... There is something lovely and full circle about having adult conversations with people that you had only had children's conversations with before. That was really, really cool. Particularly with Helena [Bonham Carter] and Chris Columbus and Gary [Oldman], but then also people like the Phelps twins [James and Oliver, who play the Weasley twins]. That was an interesting one.

Watching the Return to Hogwarts reunion special was likely as revealing to audiences as it was to Radcliffe himself while filming it. Many moviegoers remember the Harry Potter cast as the 11-year-old children they saw first step on to the screen back in 2001, and followed for 10 years into their young adulthood.

It is certainly heartwarming to find that Return to Hogwarts was as much of a special experience for cast members like Radcliffe as it was for all the many whose lives have been touched by the Harry Potter franchise. Radcliffe's comments that he is "proud" of his Harry Potter co-stars are certainly warranted.
