Welp, There’s a Yeezy x GAP Collab Coming

has announced an upcoming collaboration from his brand Yeezy and GAP. Yup, the musician-turned-designer is bringing his signature Yeezy line to a beloved mall fashion brand.

According to a press release from Yeezy, Kanye is set to collaborate with the GAP, an iconic American line that launched in 1969. "Under West’s creative direction, the YEEZY design studio will develop the new line to deliver modern, elevated basics for men, women, and kids at accessible price points, with the creative process just getting underway.

Kanye goes way back with the GAP; he actually worked in a GAP store as a teen in Chicago, and has previously referenced the brand as one of his dream jobs. In a 2015 interview, heKanye has, of course, given the classic navy and white GAP logo a Yeezy twist, swapping out the brand's name for "YZY." “We are excited to welcome Kanye back to the GAP family as a creative visionary, building on the aesthetic and success of his YEEZY brand and together defining a next-level retail partnership,” Mark Breitbard, Global Head of GAP Brand, said in a statement.
