SEOUL - North Korea fired missiles into the sea off its east coast for the fourth time in less than two weeks, South Korea said on Tuesday, as Pyongyang warned that hostile moves against it “have reached the danger line.”
But if Washington and Seoul disregard North Korea’s repeated warnings, “we will make them pay heavy price,” a North Korean foreign ministry spokesman said in a statement released through state news agency KCNA. Kim Dong-yub, a military expert at South Korea’s Kyungnam University, said the latest launch area was significant because the flight path of 450 km meant that all of South Korea was in range of such missiles.
“Kim believes he doesn’t need to compromise to get what he wants, doesn’t need to conduct serious negotiations at the working level because he has recourse to Trump, and doesn’t need to restrain any of his missile testing or actions abroad as long as he doesn’t test an intercontinental ballistic missile,” Jackson said. The launches on July 25 were the first since Trump and Kim met at the heavily armed Demilitarized Zone that separates the two Koreas on June 30.
Talks with NK is a joke. They will never relinquish the nukes with just talking as they do not trust anybody to keep the Kim dynasty alive
'South Korean President Moon Jae-in has called for economic cooperation with North Korea as a way to address trade issues with Japan.'
realDonaldTrump Sir! Send another love note
NK is playing Trump like a fiddle. Time for something positive to happen and that doesn't mean photo ops. If that doesn't happen soon, it's time to get tough.
Any correlation with....HK events? Worldwide .....
Just ignore them and let them dump all their missiles into the sea. Each one cost them millions of dollars.
Back to square one here by the looks!
So glad those summits paid off, and in no way diminished the US's diplomatic standing by elevating a despotic regime to legitimacy.
I wonder how long it will take Trump to cave to his lover this time?
That sounds so psychotic. I mean. Really?
