Serus Walters had string of violent arrests, some say he should have been kept behind bars.CLEVELAND, Ohio - Several alleged victims of 19-year-old Serus Walters say these violent beatings should have never happened in the first place.

Reports show Walters’ crime spree began in Bowling Green. Police there arrested him last summer for slashing a woman’s tires after the two got into a fight. Walters can be heard on the police body cam video telling officers he didn’t do it. “I don’t know what’s going through his head, I don’t know,” said Tony. “I don’t have a clue as to why he attacked me.”“I was terrified,” said Tony.

“He said he was just walking down, guy with a black coat comes up, asks if he has any money,” the officer said. “He says ‘no’ ― the next thing you know he hits him in the back of the head. He fell down and got up and he hit him in the mouth.”“You’re bleeding pretty good all right,” the officer tells him.“There’s black people with dreads who like look each other,” said Walters.“Relax,” said the officer.
