Dept. of Veterans Affairs says all medical facility employees will be required to be vaccinated against Covid-19, becoming the first federal agency to issue a mandate.

The Biden administration has been under increasing pressure to begin mandating the vaccinations where it can as the national rate of inoculations stalled and the number of new cases has risen in recent weeks. The move comes after a coalition ofto mandate vaccinations for all their workers as the highly transmissible delta variant spreads. In a letter, the groups called such a requirement the"logical fulfillment of the ethical commitment" to patients in their care.

Employees have eight weeks to become fully vaccinated if not already and will receive four hours of paid administrative leave after providing proof they have been vaccinated. "Whenever a Veteran or VA employee sets foot in a VA facility, they deserve to know that we have done everything in our power to protect them from COVID-19. With this mandate, we can once again make — and keep — that fundamental promise."

There have also been three Covid outbreaks at Veterans Affairs facilities, the most recent one occurring among unvaccinated employees and trainees at a law enforcement training center, the department said.

THIS SHOULD BE A NATIONAL LAW !!!

Finally, it’s starting

The death penalty by injection!

What took them so long? The virus will not go away on its own, the only solution is to vaccinate as many people as possible. It is being said that even the survivors are showing brain abnormalities usually not seen until later in years.

Good.

a mandate for every employee to have a government camera in their living room will follow up

Good. Now do all the agencies.

They are exceeding their authority.

About time!!👍👍👏👏🙏🙏

Department of Veterans Affairs will require health workers to be vaccinatedThe Department of Veterans Affairs will require many of its frontline health workers to be vaccinated, a senior official says. The agency will be the first area of the federal government to require shots among some of its workers. Very very smart!! vasaltlakecity Shouldn’t all frontline healthcare workers be vaccinated? Here in Utah most of them are. It was mandatory for Intermountain Healthcare front workers. I’m always confused by the it’s “not FDA approved” comments. Aren’t the commercials for medications.. the ones that say -if you or a loved one took , insert medication here, died or have side effects… aren’t those FDA approved? Or am I wrong? FDA approved doesn’t mean shit.. I don’t unsteand why it’s taking so long to get thr FDA to fully approve COVID 19 vaccines? Almost 200 mil vaccinated. Isn’t that enough for an approval? How many guinea pigs do they need? If they did this then they could mandate more healthcare workers and businesses to comply.
