Wed, April 17th 2024 at 7:53 PM Texas public colleges and universities are still grappling with the enforcement of Senate Bill 17.

"I find myself grappling with many conflicting emotions," said UT Faculty Council chairwoman, Jen Moon, in the first Faculty Council meeting since the layoffs were announced in late March. According to the department's website, DCCE provides support and resources for students who face significant challenges in accessing education.

"It was very painful on many fronts, as a former student and then also as an employee," said Dr. Lewis.
