GENEVA - There is ‘very little risk’ that pets can infect their owners with COVID-19, the chief scientist of the World Health Organization said on Thursday.

Soumya Swaminathan, WHO chief scientist, told a Geneva news conference that felines, ferrets and “even tigers” have been infected with the disease. “There is very little risk from domestic animals because there was some concern about domestic animals becoming a source of infection,” she said.

who else is goin to believe WHO anymore!!?

No Corona...!

It’s ok only as long as you dont fall asleep. If you do, your furry friend eats your eyeballs and you bleed to death! WHO stayhome COVID19

Everything about this virus has been contradictory from the start.

WHO should contact Prof Brett Sutton, little weasel knows all! Confident school age children would not be affected, yet how many schools closed for cleaning children affected?

So in reality since everything these hacks say is a lie, pets will murder you.

If the who said so, then you know it's got to be false

So why did ALF die?

So there’s a chance?

Believe it or not, we all will have to live with corona, as we do with lots of other viruses. panic COVIDー19 coronacircus And we‘re all going to die eventually, but that‘s nothing to do with covid. makelove peace

Probably the most useless non news story that I’ve seen posted on social media. What editor thought this was even a story to pursue? More importantly, who would allow this ‘story’ to be posted on social media longer than five minutes?

This is SO dumb, this has been around for 6 months, we would know if this was an issue

Great non-story. Thanks.

Elephants and seals are dropping out, so I guess it's good they're not pets.

As I’ve said; no virus to date has ever jumped the “Species Barrier” :all modeling is based on “what if’s” Bio 101 POTUS

It’s true that dogs, cats, and most species carry their own kinds of coronavirus, but those are not human pathogens. There’s no need to put a mask on your furry friend. Understand coronavirus to get rid of false information and anxiety.
