Some Utah school workers will be given extra police training to become “ school guardians ,” able to spring into action in case of an emergency, like a school shooting .

At the Utah County Sheriff’s Firing Range, a gun range day was recently held for the Sheriff’s Teachers Academy, but not everyone there owned a weapon. This teacher training has been getting worldwide attention. When KUTV was there, so was a news crew from the Netherlands.
