The body of a Palestinian killed in an early morning incident when residents rushed toward aid trucks in Gaza City on February 29, 2024.Hundreds of people had rushed about 30 trucks bringing a predawn delivery of aid to the north. Palestinians said nearby Israeli troops shot into the crowds. Israel said they fired warning shots toward the crowd and insisted many of the dead were trampled.
