Memphis Police Chief Cerelyn Davis gave an address Wednesday evening ahead of a decision by the police department to release the body cam footage in Tyre Nichols' death.

also reviewed the body camera footage with Nichols' family and similarly described it as"appalling" and"heinous."Civil rights attorney Ben Crump speaks at a news conference with the family of Tyre Nichols in Memphis, Tenn., Monday, Jan. 23, 2023.

Davis also said the investigation and release of the body cam footage are among the first steps for the police to regain its community standing, and called for"true responsible action and change." Davis added:"To show those who watch us now that this behavior is not what will define our community and this great city. This is not a reflection of the good work that many Memphis police officers do every day. What comes next is our defining moment. What we all do next can be that reflection of our character."

They all should go to prison just as long as chauvin did. Not one of those cops had the decency or common sense to say STOP? I’m sure they’ll have no problem saying that word in prison. Only then they’ll understand how tyre nichols felt before they murdered him.

Good luck, there are peaceful ways of getting justice but with rabble rousers out there looking for any excuse for violence they will obliterate the message with riots and send their minions to destroy and hurt the very communities they claim to be there for.

I am sure they won't! Rabid Animals are not capable of rational thought! Just animal instinct paired with mental disorder!

This was Black-on-Black violence

Fingers crossed behind her back?

BRING ON THE WHITE LIBERALS TO DESTROY BLACK NEIGHBORHOODS IN THE NAME OF EQUITY, ANTIRACISM AND DEFUND THE POLICE!!
