WASHINGTON—Twitter Inc. on Tuesday turned down a widower’s request to delete tweets by President Trump floating baseless theories about his wife’s death, but for the first time applied a fact-checking notice to a different unsubstantiated claim the president made on the platform.
The social-media company didn’t explain its decision early in the day not to remove Mr. Trump’s tweets falsely suggesting that former lawmaker and current MSNBC host Joe Scarborough had played a role in the 2001 death of a former congressional aide.
Voter Fraud numbers have been inflated before. Remember the headline “Nearly 200,000 Florida Voters May Not Be Citizens”? The initial list of 180,000 names was whittled down to 207, but that number should be ZERO in an election.
Bi-partisan committee under president Carter found that mail in voting was likely to lead to vote fraud.

Twitter made a HUGE mistake. They have now injected themselves into a US election and decided to become editorialists, rather than a platform. ALL platform protections should be immediately revoked and Twitter should be treated as a publisher.

Mail in ballots could lead to fraud. In PA 2 sets of ballots were mailed to registered Dems for the primary. The Dems say that only 1 can be processed but who knows? Mail ballots can be mailed in up to close of polls on election day. Mail ballots should be in by election day
If Twitter is going to do that, they should list the country of origin for all users of the Twitter platform, since most of them are from Russia and China.

Mail-in ballots are naturally less secure than in-person voting so obviously there's a greater opportunity and chance for fraud. Takes just two brain cells to put that together.

We have a SACRED right to vote IN PRIVATE. With mail voting there is no way to tell who’s actually voting. That, by itself, is reason enough to reject this dangerous idea. This claim that there’s no evidence of fraud is specious because there’s no way to gauge fraud in this case.

from what i read, twitter did refuse the request from the victim to remove the untruthful tweets. which begs the question, why should tweets simply be marked as untruthful instead of being perpetrated and disseminated world wide?
His default mode is to lie. If he doesn’t lie about voter fraud it will be something else election related. He knows he’s not a sure bet to win so he needs to sow the seeds of distrust and confusion now in case he needs to question the election’s outcome.
