AnnElise Harrison, a city spokeswoman, acknowledged these concerns and mentioned plans for road expansions with the Utah Department of Transportation to alleviate commuter traffic.
"So you'll have two frontage roads with a space in the middle for a future freeway," she said. "Once the freeway is built, a lot of that commuter traffic is going to use the freeway to get through there, which will leave those frontage roads for local traffic.".
