Sund maintained that he approached Irving for National Guard backup two days before the attack, but that his request was denied by Irving, who cited the “optics” of the deployment. Along with Senate Sergeant-at-Arms Michael Stenger, Irving said they discussed “whether the intelligence warranted the troops” and the trio decided “the answer was no.”
I'm sure this won't be a simple answer. . we can certainly look at who is distracting, who is hard to get answers from and who is trying to distance from it. Pelosi (the victim) is clearly not responsible for getting help there.. that would be security and persons with authority
