AUSTIN, Texas — The weekend is upon us and, as always, there are a ton of things going on in the Austin area! From fun festivals to a record convention, there's no shortage of fun activities happening over the next few days.The 49th Annual Spring Pecan Street Festival will be held this weekend in Downtown Austin. The street fair gathers artists, craftsman, musicians and food vendors on Sixth Street – historically known as Pecan Street.
And don't forget: the festival kicks off with a free pre-show from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. at the Dell Technologies Plaza. That will feature performances from Riley Green, Chris Lane, Walker Hayes, Ashley Cooke, Chase Matthew and Kelsey Hart.The biannual Austin Record Convention is back at the Palmer Events Center. The event prides itself on being the"largest sale of recorded music in the USA." During the event, more than 300 dealers from all over the U.S.
