US military wants nuclear rocket ideas for missions near the moonDARPA wants ideas for a nuclear rocket for missions in Earth-moon space What if we added a re-usable asteroid and comet propulsion engine/rocket to asteroids and comets - why deflect them when we can plan missions to move them to another orbit! We could use them as building blocks to make moons and terraform planets just like nature does. Yes it would be a great feat of engineering to get that done. Go for it DARPA.
