After an alleged thief cut a fence on their property, a farm in Ontario, California, is hoping to get a dozen stolen goats home safely. The folks at the Drake Family Farms say someone stole adult goats — including a female who had recently given birth, and three baby goats , which are also known as kids.'It's just so sad to see someone would attack such as small family farm,' farm supervisor Cassandra Murillo told KCAL, KCBS.
'The farmers have added worry about the situation because all of the adult goats who were stolen from the herd were either pregnant or have now been separated from their babies. 'They really rely on their mom the first few hours especially when they kid overnight because it's cold right now,' Murillo told KCAL, KCBS's Michelle Gile. 'They need the mother's warmth, the mother's colostrum.
