Thick smoke seen in the interior from McDonald Fire south of Fairbanks

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - On June 8, the BLM Alaska Fire Service responded to an estimated deployed eight smokejumpers on June 8, around 7:30 p.m. to help contain the threat posed on the military facility near Blair Lakes.
