Throughout the week, young campers learned a lot about fire safety alongside Spanish Fort Fire Rescue.
Kids entering 1st through 6th grade got hands-on experience in what it takes to be a firefighter. They practiced using fire extinguishers, learned how to safely exit a smoke-filled house, and watched firefighters perform a simulated car rescue.“The coolest thing was the car fire and all the other stuff and meeting the firefighters,” said another camper.
