A Florida man is in critical condition after setting himself on fire at a New York City park shortly after posting manifesto online. The World Association of Zoos and Aquariums announced they are welcoming The Wilds as a member of the global zoo and aquarium community on Friday.

WAZA is the global alliance of zoos and aquariums that dedicates care and conservation of animals and their habitats, according to the statement from WAZA. “WAZA is very proud to welcome The Wilds as a new Institution Member," said WAZA CEO Dr. Martín Zordan. "I am certain that their technical expertise and knowledge will provide our members with several opportunities to collaborate with them, especially when it comes to working together to address global challenges such as habitat restoration and human-wildlife coexistence."

The Wilds is located in Cumberland, Ohio. It is home to a variety of endangered species including the southern white rhino. Animals such as giraffes, cheetahs, taken, and more roam open pastures spanning over 10,000 acres.

In addition to joining WAZA, The Wilds is accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums and certified by American Humane, according to the statement.
