BREAKING: British regulators ground Boeing 737 Max aircraft following the Ethiopian Airlines crash on Sunday.

British regulators have grounded Boeing 737 Max aircraft following the Ethiopian Airlines crash on Sunday.

The General Civil Aviation Authority made the announcement Tuesday via the Emirates’ state-run WAM news agency. Capt. Australia’s Civil Aviation Safety Authority says no Australian airlines operate the aircraft type, but two foreign airlines — SilkAir and Fiji Airways — fly them to Australia. The Ethiopian Airlines Boeing 737 Max 8 plane crashed shortly after takeoff, killing all 157 people on board. Five months earlier, a similar Indonesian Lion Air jet plunged into the ocean, killing 189.

An official from South Korea’s Transportation Ministry says it has yet to find any problems from safety reviews on Eastar’s planes that started Monday. The Mideast budget airline FlyDubai says it will continue to fly Boeing 737 Max 8 aircraft after reviewing a recent U.S. regulator statement about the aircraft.

It clearly shows a manufacturer malfunction or a technical issue.. why can't govts sue Boeing!! Cash settle everything it seems

American Airlines grounded that aircraft two weeks ago.

So no pictures of dead bodies? Interesting...

Will that stop accidents from occurring

komonews People, this is a total only 340 flying aircraft out of thousands of 737 Boeing has built. I believe that this factoid should be part of any grounding reports

Wait, the British government can make a decision?

HELLO FAASafetyBrief

Build plane a pilot fly's not AI.

LasekMaciej Entire MAX series, not only 8s.

Yet Americans are still flying on that plane. WTF?

ASK YOURSELVES: Can you TRULY trust Trump’s FAA to do what’s right?🤔🤔🤔 How many times has he favored corps vs Americans?🥴 He & his Admin has lost the faith of the American people!

The only country not grounding BoeingAirplanes is the USA because it will affect corporate profit. Profit will always come first before people.

Southwest says it remains 'confident' in its fleet of Boeing planes after Ethiopia crashSouthwest Airlines Co. expressed confidence in its Boeing Co. aircraft and said has no plans to change operations in the wake of a deadly crash involving a 737 Max 8 aircraft in Ethiopia. But shares of the airline fell over 3% in premarket trading, alongside a nearly 9% drop in Boeing shares. "As Southwest operates a fleet of 34 Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft, we have been in contact with Boeing and will continue to stay close to the investigation as it progresses," said a spokesman for the company. Ethiopian Airlines Flight 302 crashed shortly after takeoff from the capitol of Addis Ababa, killing all 157 people on board. It's the second deadly accident involving Boeing's popular 737 Max 8 in six months, with the last occurring in October when an Indonesia Lion Air jet crashed into the sea, killing all 189 on board. China's civilian aviation authority has ordered all airlines to ground those Max 8 planes, while Ethiopian Airlines has grounded its entire fleet of those planes. "We don't have any changes planned to our operational policies or procedures," said the Southwest spokesman. Losses for Boeing drove a 170-point drop in Dow futures. Boeing needs to ground all these new 737's immediately Caution is warranted pending the investigation and review of the facts at hand. Dont be a hero
