BREAKING: House of Commons by narrowest of margins approves bill designed to guarantee Britain can't leave EU without a withdrawal agreement.

Britain’s House of Commons has by the narrowest of margins approved a bill designed to guarantee that the country can’t leave the European Union without a withdrawal agreement.

He says that makes it possible “no-deal would happen by accident. It would happen suddenly. There would be no transition. It is an accidental disorderly Brexit.” Corbyn said “there hasn’t been as much change as I expected, but we are continuing to have some discussions tomorrow morning to explore some of the technical issues.”

The result means lawmakers have rejected the idea of holding a third day of voting on alternative Brexit options Monday.Another minister has quit British Prime Minister Theresa May’s government over her decision to seek a Brexit compromise with the opposition. Merkel said Wednesday averting a chaotic Brexit is “in the interest of Britain but, above all, also in our own interest.” She plans to visit Ireland on Thursday to discuss among other things that country’s border with the U.K.’s Northern Ireland, one of the most complicated issues in Britain’s departure from the European Union.

Verhofstadt was hopeful that talks Wednesday between British Prime Minister Theresa May and opposition leader Jeremy Corbyn would finally yield a breakthrough.Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz says he doesn’t yet see a reason to grant Britain another delay to its withdrawal from the European Union, but is welcoming British Prime Minister Theresa May’s efforts to avoid a no-deal Brexit.

EU Economy Commissioner Pierre Moscovici said Wednesday that Britain would become a third country overnight, creating “instantaneous and very radical legal change.”

Brexit addio Alla faccia del volere del popolo L' Inghilterra é stata ridimensionata agli occhi degli altri Paesi Europei. Credevamo fosse una potenza Ci eravamo sbagliati

Basically, they'll stay forever in EU because they won't be able to agree on anything. Shocking awe...

Democracy in action!! 🙄

Well with that great screwup the voice of the people is lost and Britain might as well bend over for the screwing they are about to receive. Any deal the EU will screw them with and it will cost money every year. Or they might as well fold their tent and stay.

Britain in picture form.

Is this the dingo dollar challenge? I fear she may not win the treat!

Self-humiliation continues

Democracy is a joke

I feel like the EU contries could have avoided alot of drunk Brits causing a rukus but its up to them.

I see EU still keeping doors open for the UK to get rid of Brexit.

Great job Sessions! I wonder how he feels looking at this knowing it was him and his decision who did this.

Spineless

Omg this does so much to ratchet down my stress

EmmaKennedy what-the hell does this mean.... are they saying Parliament has to drop 50 if, by the 12th, there's no exit agreement Across the pond it's a bit hard to follow goins on - we're behind the time curve....

Shows that Brits are barely, just barely, smart enough to avoid a completely self-inflicted economic disaster. Amazing.

Disgraceful

DEMOCRACY IS SO LOW IN PRACTICALITY THAT EU & BREXIT HAS CONSUMED TIME WITH ZERO RETURN--WHAT IS MORE STUPID IS UK PM WAS WORKING WITHOUT PARLIAMENT ON A PRODUCT OF PARLIAMENT - PARLIAMENT ONCE ELECTED THEY WORK FOR GOVT VS NOT PARTIES

I will keep thinking that Brexit is a mistake until evidence of a better outcome economically comes up.

joehudsonsmall A remain Parliament trying to implement a Leave result. Disgraceful. The 17.4 have been betrayed yet again!

Way to improve your leverage to get a deal! The ultimate individual mandate. idiots

Small problem: Britain doesn't get to decide that.

I'd suggest the voting public doesn't have to accept a vote passed in HouseofCommons by 1 vote. They are blatantly ignoring a Democratic Vote that passed by 52% to 48%. Fairs fair. Arrogant, self-serving and soon to be unemployed nincompoops.

Advance to the rear.

Protests underway after UK lawmakers reject Brexit dealNBC News’ Bill Neely reports from London where thousands have gathered outside Parliament in protest of lawmakers’ handling of Brexit. You do know this was just ‘several thousand’? according to skynews A very small protest that didn’t even fill Parliament Square unlike the peaceful Remainers march of at least a million which wound through the streets of London a week ago. This wave of right-wing nationalism wasn't good for anyone and it was pushed by the same people who gave us Trump (whether he helped them or not) How many times are they going to polish this turd? Brexit is dead. Are there any investigations into the conception of Brexit? I smell the Russians.
