Replacing and consolidating core administrative systems across an entire university system is daunting enough. Fold in a global pandemic? Impressive. They are now planning for the second cohort.
The importance of focus, prioritization, user experience and over-communication became crystal clear, quickly. Those that have mastered the art of deep focus since March 2020 should be celebrated as resources promise to become increasingly strapped. There is no room for wasted effort or dollars; therefore, targeted spend in a deliberate sequence is quite the accomplishment as higher education strives for recovery.
