'I've held the patient's hand while they die. I've FaceTimed with families so they could say goodbye to their loved ones. We just sit there and hold their hands.'

"That day, those nurses prayed," Thomas, who has worked at Excela Westmoreland Hospital for nine years, told."Then they just instantly started to plan what we were going to do and how we were going to take care of these patients."Today, the 15-bed COVID-19 unit Thomas works in is full, and nurses are faced with an emotionally taxing responsibility: video-calling dying patients' families so they can say goodbye.

"I've held the patient's hand while they die," Thomas said."I've FaceTimed with families so they could say goodbye to their loved ones. We just sit there and hold their hands. They want you to limit to 15 minutes in a room, but how do you walk away from someone that's saying they want to die?"A sign over route 28 north of downtown Pittsburgh alerts out of state motorists to Pennsylvania Covid-19 travel restrictions on Nov. 24, 2020.

So if nurse can be there with them when they die and survive, why can’t a family member be with them? Why not let a family member gear up and be with their loved one? Why a stranger? Shouldn’t it be the family member’s choice?

Chilling story oh my God

If I ever watched someone die, I would die first.

Now report this

The so called evidence provided so far for a natural origin of COVID-19 comes from a single highly biased study in Nature, the Proximal Origin of SARS-CoV-2. At least two authors are getting money from China. One is honored by CCP. The virus was made & leaked from a PLA lab.

It would be good if the hospitals could develop a viable treatment while we wait on the vaccine.

Thank you for all your loving support of others✨❤️✨.

Have you done that for patients that died from other diseases ? How long have you been a nurse ? If for any considerable amount of time. You have not seen more Covid deaths than any other life ending disease Truth There are no more deaths in 2020 than in 2019

God bless all of you 🙏🙏🙏

China created the virus but trump's ego and downplaying the virus made it worse. Thousands didn't have to die.

Do they react the same way to the hundreds of thousands that died this year from medical errors? There are way more than covid deaths... and this doesn't count the maimed.

Let their families have access....We treat people on Death Row better....this is just cruel....

We’re not buying it! defundtheABC

OMG, how much did you pay her ?

And it's going to get so much worse because bubba and Becky had to jump in their trump flag adorned pickup to head to granny gertie's for Thanksgiving with all 84 cousins. 😔

I hope all those ppl who ignored the warnings had a nice Thanksgiving.
