Houston Texans wide-receiver Tank Dell was a victim in a shooting late Saturday night, according to officials with the Texans . According to FOX 35, our sister station in Orlando, the shooting occurred during a Cabana Live Event in unincorporated Sanford, Florida last night, the Seminole County Sheriff's Office reported. Shortly after midnight, deputies conducting an area patrol heard multiple gunshots coming from the back of the venue, the sheriff’s office said.
He sustained a minor wound but has been released from the hospital and he is in good spirits. We are in contact with him and his family and will provide more updates when appropriate, but we ask that you please respect his privacy at this time. Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone involved in the incident."The shooter, a 16-year-old, was apprehended by a security officer at the venue and is currently being booked into the Juvenile Detention Center, deputies told FOX 35 Orlando.
