Superman Revealing S Symbol DC

Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT Everything about Superman's classic backstory is perfectly illustrated in a succinct and amazing piece of cover art. The Man of Steel has built up a solid reputation for himself over the years and there's hardly a person who doesn't know the hero's origin. But in just four panels, one artist expertly communicates Superman's life story.

In DC Comics' batch of solicitations for June, the publisher gave fans a look at what it has in store for the summer. The epic Superman-oriented "House of Brainiac" crossover comes to an epic conclusion and DC has a few variants for Superman #15. Artist Danny Earls' variant for Superman #15 showcases Clark Kent's iconic backstory. The first shows baby Kal-El rocketing to Earth through space. The next shows Clark as a young man lifting several bales of hay on the Kent farm. The third shows Clark navigating Metropolis and the last panel has Superman soaring through the air.

Superman Cover is the Perfect Summary of Clark's Origin There are plenty of amazing superhero origins, but few that are as well-known or as popular as Superman’s. The last son of a dying world, Kal-El was sent away for a chance at life, which he got when he landed on Earth and was adopted by the Kents. The couple raised Clark as their own in Kansas and instilled a strong moral character and sense of altruism in their boy.

Danny Earls isn’t the first person to try and distill Superman’s origins down to just a few panels. A similar group of four panels famous served as the opening for All-Star Superman #1. But Earls’ cover stands out from what that comic did by emphasizing a few other important parts of Clark’s life. The second panel shows how happy Clark was while living on the Kent farm while the third panel shows an unsure Clark during his earliest days in Metropolis.
