Police in Florida say 2 Daytona Beach university students may have thwarted a mass shooting by reporting concerning messages shared in a Snapchat group to campus security.

Police quickly made their way to Hagins’ residence and were able to apprehend him as he left his apartment. The 19-year-old was carrying a collapsible rifle, a magazine and boxes of ammunition in his backpack. Today is my birthday. Please help my daughter and I.

My son showed my snapchat stories of a local school in pickerington ohio being threatened by a student to kill students on 12/13. I asked him for a screenshot but it was already taken down. He barely even reacted. Our kids think this is normal, but it should not be.
