St. Patrick's story of a rebellious teen who became a slave, then a Catholic bishop and evangelist is a lesson of God's forgiving nature, said Fr. Timothy Harris, a Pennsylvania pastor.

This year of 2024, the Fifth Sunday of Lent coincides with St. Patrick's Day, the feast of the patron saint of Ireland. And while many people are taking the opportunity to revel in all things Irish, a priest told Fox News Digital that the story of St. Patrick is a timely reminder of the power of God's forgiveness. 'So many youth today, and many of us who still act more ‘childish' than ‘childlike,’ need to hear the story of St. Patrick. Our choices have consequences.
