Students across Southern California organized walkouts and vigils in response to the mass shooting in Uvalde, Texas.

A fourth-grade teacher and kids who were "loving" and "full of life" were among those killed in a mass shooting at a Texas elementary school Tuesday.

The tragedy at Robb Elementary that left 19 students and two teachers death has other students like sixth grader Violet Pastor asking, 'Can it happen here?' Earlier in the day students at several schools in Southern California walked out in protest demanding an end to gun violence. Also, Finn Franti, who knew the two students killed said,"I was here during the event that took place here. I was here and it's just horrible. I don't want any family, friends, anyone to have to go through that."

Nobody mentions all these protestings spread the corona viruses too. Yet they blame people for not wearing masks.

They might just walk there butts back home because this might be there one way out of school for the rest of the school year!

🤦‍♀️

Let’s blame everything and everybody. Doors, teachers, security. What about automatic weapons and lack of SENSIBLE gun laws?

careful kids the school cops are armed to the teeth.

This is gonna be one strange generation as they grow up in war, I hope they can make it through this. PTSD is gonna run rampant through them. This is just to sad to see.

It seems very strange that no entity is measuring the increase in gun violence in popular entertainment media... and it seems there is a direct correlation with the increase in real world mass-shootings...and the most violent 'shoot-em-ups' and movies always use assault weapons.

So democrats are holding walkouts against their democratic president, senate & house of reps? Nice, its about time!

Smart move. Congruent with its incompetent governor, corrupt Sacramento legislature, California leads the nation in mass shootings.

Walkouts and vigils won't change a thing. Reporting abnormal behavior to parents, teachers, law enforcement helps. No more ignoring bad behavior, quit being afraid of being sued.

Southern California schools on alert after mass shooting kills 19 elementary school students in TexasThere have been no specific threats, but Southern California law enforcement and local schools will still be on alert after yesterday's horrific mass shooting in Texas. Democrat run public schools are intentionally created soft targets. They need a disarmed public to finish their communist agenda and the only way they can do it is on top of the dead bodies of the children they helped kill.

They should after democrats tried to remove all police from schools. They said the Police were too intimidating and the students were afraid I would have done anything to get out of class too Let’s do this right, and be in control, people, Please. I understand School Boards,I was on one for just over 6 years I needs to be a Police Member in the School, all the time the students are there. This should be by Federal Law, the liability cannon lie on the Board.

Students stage walkouts across U.S. to protest Texas school massacre“This could have been any of us,” a 17-year-old in Vermont said. How about we just keep kids home until they do something? Refuse to send kids to school until some change is made Everyone will get angry and cry about it. People will shout about guns. And tomorrow, more kids will die. Because it’s not just about access to guns. It’s children who are not taught to process their emotions, who are belittled for showing emotional vulnerability, who are taught students to manage? What if school weeks were four days long? What if school days had a lot more interactive work with gardening, art, music, photography, etc.? What if all people made a living wage? What if we treated the trauma that feeds addiction rather than trying 2 control
