A 24-year-old entrepreneur who said he made $110,000 reselling sneakers last year revealed his detailed spreadsheet for organizing and growing his business

Running your own business comes with its challenges, and Fresen said staying organized is essential for success. To do this, Fresen uses a meticulously organized spreadsheet, which he shared with Business Insider, to track his sales, expenses, and month-to-month growth.

Fresen recommends all resellers keep a detailed section of their expenses, which can include anything from shipping costs to the cost of gas used to travel to a post office to ship sneakers to a customer. "It's a good way to look back and gauge, you know, what month do people like buying the most, stuff like that," he said. "It's a good way to pick up on your buyers' patterns."

He also includes a breakdown of the number of sales for the year and on which platforms each sale took place. Most of Fresen's 2019 sales occurred over PayPal, but he made some sales on StockX and GOAT as well.
