Eligible landlords can be paid by the city on behalf of their tenant, who must qualify for the ERAP program. To apply for city assistance, the landlord must provide photo identification, proof that they own the property, a completed W-9 tax form and proof of the tenant’s current monthly rent and past rent that’s owed.
