"It's a tough Katy team," Seven Lakes coach Angela Spurlock said."They've had a tremendous season. Obviously with 11 seniors, to include their managers, what a storied career they've had here. Coach Marhofer is a wonderful coach. That's as tough as it gets, and I love it, because 19-6A basketball's got to be tough. You've got to get tougher when you get out of it, so it's tough to be in it.
"It's extremely important," Carlton said."We needed this win for that secure spot for playoffs. There was a moment where it was kind of like, are we going to make the playoffs or not, but we deserve to be there and I think this game proves it."
