Scott added: “We talked about the fact that there is a constructive way to have a dialogue with a nation in this similar fashion that we had a conversation after Charlottesville, the President will listen, if you engage him with the facts of the issue.”The president drew criticism on Friday following a late night tweet that evoked the civil-rights era by borrowing a phrase used in 1967 by Miami's police chief to warn of an aggressive police response to unrest in black neighborhoods.

Trump, in his tweets, borrowed a phrase once used by former Miami Police Chief Walter Headley in a 1967 speech outlining his department’s efforts to “combat young hoodlums who have taken advantage of the civil rights campaign.” In the speech, Headley said his department had been successful “because I've let the word filter down that when the looting starts, the shooting starts.

They tried Georgia but that didn't get the attention off the coronavirus. Then they tried Minnesota. That one had the affect Republicans was looking for. The attention is off the virus and now everyone is rioting. Trump's America is right outside your door.

Trump will now turn on Tim. Wait.

'Of COURSE' they aren't constructive, neither is the 'Fry'em Like Bacon' chants.. But they are his own ... the later is the voice of the MOB intending HARM to Police Officers.. This, 'We're a Target' excuse needs to stop!

Sen. Ted Cruz calls for criminal investigation of Twitter over alleged sanction violationsSen. Ted Cruz called on the Treasury and Justice departments to start a criminal investigation into Twitter for alleged violations of U.S. sanctions on Iran. The call to investigate Twitter comes against the backdrop of an already tense week between the White House and Twitter. I’d like a criminal investigation into Cruz’s father’s role in the assassination of JFK. Because we don't have bigger things happening on our soil that are much more urgent. Way to go Ted, pandering to Trump.
