The second day of AHSAA softball state championship tournament play features title games in Class 7A and Class 4A while Class 6A and Class 1A begin play at Oxford’s Choccolocco Park.

The Class 7A championship is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. at Signature Stadium with the Class 4A championship at 5. Class 6A first round play is at 9 a.m. and Class 1A follows at 10:45 with both classes playing through the winners bracket final and two rounds of elimination play.Brooks has a 3-2 lead over Madison County in the second inning of a Class 4A elimination game and Daphne holds a 2-0 lead over Central-Phenix in a Class 7A elimination game.

In Class 6A, Athens leads 1-0 over Baldwin County, Oxford and Hillcrest-Tuscaloosa are knotted up 1-1 in the third, Hartselle leads Wetumpka 4-1 in the second and Gardendale currently leads 2-0 over Helena.If you purchase a product or register for an account through a link on our site, we may receive compensation.
