Sanders surpasses Biden among African American voters: Reuters/Ipsos poll

NEW YORK - U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders has widened his lead for the Democratic presidential nomination and overtaken Joe Biden in support among African Americans - a voting bloc that until now has largely favored the former vice president, according to a Reuters/Ipsos national poll released on Tuesday.

The Reuters/Ipsos poll, conducted Feb. 19-25, also showed that support for billionaire media mogul Michael Bloomberg slipped by 2 percentage points after the former New York City mayor faced intense scrutiny from other candidates last week in his first debate as a presidential candidate. The poll showed Sanders’ lead over the rest of the field has grown in each of the last three weeks, hitting double digits for the first time in the latest survey.

Elizabeth and Pete most impressive. All were interesting. Guess I voted for trump before -because he has very little respect for ‘The System.’ He turns over dinner tables. It is nerve wracking and often I am offended but...sinking back into recent past is not safe either. Hum....

MistralS What is the percentage of African American people with respect to those who have the right to vote? I do not have the figure but I am sure that it would be surprising. Even more so if compared to caucasians.

I way the DNC allows sanders to be the candidate. Hillary to the rescue

of course, populism will always appeal to the poorer minorities. And Sanders makes all kind of offers that he doesn't even know how he will fulfill . But free health care and college tuition for everybody are too attractive to be turned down

Biden's bid rests on his previous bromance. Fact.

This guy could die at any moment ... Y USA is choosing old dudes

They can't stop us ❤️

Go Bernie!!

Ugh, why?!!!

America, it was nice while it lasted.

does this have anything to do with biden's increasingly apparent cognitive decline?
