The Galaxy Z Fold 5 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy chipset, which is the same as the older Galaxy S23 Ultra and the new Galaxy Z Flip 5. I expect it to offer a better battery life and a lot depends on the chipset in that regard because the Fold 5 packs the same 4,400mAh battery as before. You get 12GB of RAM that can be paired with three configurations – 256GB, 512GB and 1TB storage options.

On the optics front, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 sports the same triple rear camera setup as the Fold 4. It houses a 50MP primary camera, accompanied by a 10MP telephoto sensor with 3x optical zoom and a 12MP ultrawide-angle lens. You also get a 12MP selfie shooter on the cover screen and a 4MP under-display camera inside the foldable screen.
