Will Samsung cut back on plans to launch several flagship foldable Galaxy Z Fold 6 smartphone models and focus on a single model?. The South Korean trade paper reports that Samsung has stepped back from plans to expand the Galaxy Z Fold family with the launch of both a premium Ultra branded model and a Fan Edition model for price-conscious buyers.

TheElec cites two issues behind Samsung’s reconsideration of its plans. The first is the lack of differentiation between the Z Fold 6 FE and the folding smartphones it would challenge. The Z Fold 6 FE could be seen as a mere copy of its competitors with nothing to challenge the current designs.
