President Joe Biden speaks for the first time since his son's conviction in a speech on gun safety at Everytown's Gun Sense University.The Rochester Red Wings is raising money in their third annual Intentional Walk , bringing awareness to children's charities that all serve the local community .
Chris Lopez took strides of his own Tuesday morning on Good Day Rochester, helping the Wings out with their overall goal. "We do this every year throughout the six-game homestand," said Dan Mason, general manager of the Red Wings. "The front office is committed to walking 500 miles over the course of these six days.""This year, we're initiating a match for up to $10,000 of what you're going to bring in," says Linda Lovejoy, a corporate community relations manager for Wegmans."Everybody knows Golisano's Children's Hospital," Lovejoy said.
The Intentional Walk at Innovative Field starts Tuesday and ends with the final out of Sunday's Red Wings game.
