Detainee and activist Behrouz Boochani told CNN at least nine people have attempted suicide since the election results were confirmed on Saturday, with three now in hospital.Almost 1000 refugees are currently being held in offshore centres in Papua New Guinea and the island of Nauru at the behest of Australia, the country in which they had been attempting to seek asylum. Human rights monitors such as Amnesty International have reported"hellish" conditions, abuses and neglect.
Let me guess, their voter registration databases have been hacked.... Just like JP Morgan Life equifax Like Sony ... was this a free and fair election?

Who is encouraging this manipulative behaviour.? They were warned they will never set foot here.
Look, drinking alcohol from a shoe is not a suicide attempt. It's just a drinking game they play.
Absolutely not our problem. If you come by boat, you will not be settled in Australia.

It was our previous Labor government who started up offshore processing on Manus Island. Under Labor 8,000 children were in detention offshore, today under the Coalition government there are 0.
Can understand their feeling of hopelesness?. At least war prisoners always lived with hope their side would eventaually win release them? not so for these young men? just nothing at all but hell! near starvation? emptiness!
Fake news
sacarlin48 Shamed throughout democratic civilisation - worldwide. Monstrous depravity.
Labor doesn’t come out of this total disgrace smelling of roses BTW
This has been happening for years. Refugees have been given poor medical care, been beaten, abused, and when New Zealand offered to resettle them Australia said no and continues to detain people for 6 years and counting. No wonder the rate of suicide is increasing.
ScottMorrisonMP dude
MakMayek Um, “activists say”? Actually there are eye witness accounts!
How is the majority of voters expressing their democratic rights “a shock?” Seems like the only ones “shocked” were the ultra liberal media who keep failing to project their bias in their election reporting 😂
Scummo has made this country a world wide laughing stock.
There is where they're at, stuck in a hellhole. Between death and perpetual incarceration by the most heartless government in modern history, who won't even send them to other countries who will take them, they choose to simply not be alive any more. That option is not normal
Might be a shock for the fake news and Co It's the inevitable and everyone knows it, just like Mr President Trump would be there again and there's nothing you and your people can do about it, fake news.
