The Toronto Raptors will look to snap their two-game skid Monday night when they host the Portland Trail Blazers at 7:30 p.m. ET.TSN and Sportsnet 590 will broadcast for Toronto. ROOT Sports and Rip City Radio 620 will call the game for Portland.The Raptors need more from Pascal Siakam who attempted just eight shot attempts on Sunday night. For a player of his caliber, that's not nearly enough.
On the other hand, Scottie Barnes has looked phenomenal to start the season. Save for some turnover trouble, he's been moving the ball well and looking to assert himself throughout. There's an alternate universe where the Raptors tanked last season and are in a spot not too dissimilar to where the Trail Blazers sit today. For context, Portland had a better record than Toronto at the trade deadline last season before the Raptors traded for Poeltl, and the Trail Blazers decided to shut it down. If the Trail Blazers look good on Monday, maybe Toronto will further regret its decision to go for it last year.Toronto has listed O.G. Anunoby as questionable to play.
