Camping outside GameStop may give gamers the best chance of getting the PS5, which sold out within minutes on its online launch day earlier this month.

While the elusive PS5 may be difficult to purchase due to the limited stock and high demand, some gamers think the consoles are being bought out online by bots, who then sell the consoles for a profit.

One way to get around this is to try and purchase the console in person in store—even if it means missing out on a turkey dinner. It looks like gamers are doing just that, with photos of lines outside of GameStop stores across the U.S. being shared on social media, with reports of some having camped out since Wednesday.

However, some campers may miss out on getting the console despite committing to waiting overnight. GameStop has limited stock of the PS5, with some stores selling just two consoles. Nevertheless, PlayStation fans are trying their luck. Eugene Daniel shared photos of people camped out on mattresses outside a GameStop in Norfolk, Virginia, and said that they had been there since 6 a.m. on Thanksgiving.
