Power outage hits large portions of Manhattan in New York City

Three days after Isaias made landfall in the Carolinas, families as far up as the Northeast continue to struggle without power, raising comparisons to Hurricane Sandy, as more storms are predicted.

Con Edison, the city's main power company, said there are at least 119,039 customers without power, including those who had previously lost power as a result of the storm, as of 5:30 a.m. Friday. The power outage, according to ConEd, started around 5 a.m. Friday. The company said the power is beginning to come back on and that it's investigating the cause.

I wonder if riots and protests and general assinine behavior will fix this.
