It’s primarily anti choice- anti choice legislation deprives a sentient adult women of self determination. Anyone in favor of anti choice legislation is either ignorant of biology, ignorant of conditions pre Roe v Wade, or a religious extremist or some combination of all.
It'll be interesting to see what a proactive approach to preventing abortions (education, healthcare, access, etc.) instead of a reactive one (ban, punish women, restrict birth control) will accomplish. Instead of making them illegal, we need to strive make them unnecessary.
