This event was the fourth Free Adoption Day promotion at Pasadena Humane in as many months. The first three resulted in more than 200 adoptions.

“Through adopting so many animals, the community has helped us get through the toughest part of the year, the busy summer months,” said Dia DuVernet,

President & CEO of Pasadena Humane. “Adoptions tend to slow down in the fall, so we are hopeful this event will find many homes for the pets in our care.”
