Dravon Ames and his fiancee, Iesha Harper, had just left a dollar store in May with their daughters, ages 1 and 4, and were in their car when they realized the older girl had taken a doll. The couple drove the girls to their babysitter at an apartment complex nearby, where they were stopped and confronted by police in the parking lot.
"When I tell you to do something, you f------ do it!" an officer could be heard screaming at the handcuffed Ames. “We're yelling out, ‘The door doesn’t open that side. It doesn't open.’ Obviously I don’t have a gun with two kids in my hands," Harper said at a news conference in June.
Glad he was fired. Definitely looks better than the suspension. Still angry that it took so long and that he could still get a job as a cop anywhere else.
No firearm should be pulled? If I did that, jail. Cop Should face charges aggravated assault.
This happened in my community. Here’s the truth. The family had been stealing from store to store all day. With their young kids accompanying them. The adult male was wanted on another warrant. When confronted by police, they chose to run. With their kids in the car with them.

Parents knew of the theft. They got what was coming to them. Break law ! Pay price !
I think someone needs to come up with new methods of policing and retrain them all. Training for the police..and also therapy are necessary for their safety and ours.. I am in no way criticizing them. They have one of the most dangerous and stressful jobs out there.. commonsense

Needs to be more than fired. He should be reprimanded and charged with harassment at the very least.
Bet they gave that officer time to resign and collect his pension ,but tell the public they fired him..I don't believe a darn thing coming from any police dept now a days.
