'Perfect Spur': UConn's Stephon Castle joins Wemby in San Antonio

Castle, who helped the UConn men's basketball team win its second straight national title this past season as a freshman, was selected by the San Antonio Spurs with the No. 4 pick in the 2024 NBA Draft on Wednesday night at Barclays Center . 'He's going to be humble in the locker room,' Hurley predicted.

Spurs draftee Stephon Castle's prep coach believes he'll thrive at point guard Castle will have a chance to team up with last year's No. 1 pick, 7-foot-4 Victor Wembanyama, as a point guard-center combo for years to come.
